Scott Kelly Joins Centuri Group as SVP, Strategic Alliances and Planning

We are pleased to announce that Scott Kelly has joined Centuri Group, Inc. as Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Planning. Scott’s primary focus will be the evaluation of regional growth opportunities for both gas and electric through the assessment of utility holding company strategies. Additionally, Scott will champion the development of diverse and minority partner solutions that serve as an important aspect of Centuri’s focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Scott brings over 30 years of industry experience to Centuri, most recently having served as Vice President of SMS Central Operations for NiSource where he was responsible for SMS (Safety Management Systems) Strategy and Governance. He also led NiSource’s SMS contractor alignment approach. Prior to this role, Scott served as Vice President of Supply Chain for NiSource responsible for procurement of $2 billion of goods and services across seven states, as well as fleet and warehouse services. Before NiSource, Scott worked for Dayton Power & Light for 18 years, holding several executive level positions: President of Electric Retail, SVP Electric Transmission & Distribution, and VP of Shared Services. His experience included electric operations management, customer account management, engineering, IT, and retail services.
